Volunteer at Heritage Springs
Are you looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities in the Montoursville or Lewisburg area? Heritage Springs welcomes individuals and groups who want to share their time, talents, and kindness with residents living with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. Whether you prefer helping behind the scenes or spending time directly with residents, your support can make a real difference in daily life.

You Can Make a Difference
Volunteers bring energy, companionship, and extra helping hands that brighten our community. A friendly conversation, a shared activity, or assistance with a special project can help create more comfort, more connection, and more moments of joy for the people who reside at Heritage Springs.

Rules and Requirements for Volunteers
We value our volunteers and are committed to keeping everyone safe and healthy, including residents, visitors, and staff. All volunteers must follow these guidelines:
- Sign in upon arrival and check in with the nurse or designated team lead before starting service.
- Do not be alone in a closed room with any resident at any time.
- Do not impose personal beliefs or viewpoints on residents without their consent.
- Do not volunteer if you have had a fever, cough, runny nose, or any potentially contagious illness within the past 48 hours.
Additional requirements may apply depending on the volunteer role and the community’s needs on a given day.
Volunteer at One or Both of Our Locations
We welcome volunteers at both Heritage Springs communities:
When you apply, you can select the location that is most convenient, or choose both if you would like to support residents in each community.
